Permanent support for SOLWODI - Solidarity with women in Distress

Dr. Walser Dental permanently supports the non-profit association SOLWODI, founded in Germany in 1987.

The non-profit association SOLWODI means "Solidarity with Women in Distress". Sister Dr. Lea Ackermann laid the foundation stone for this international human rights and aid organization in Mombasa, Kenya, in 1985. Dr. Walser Dental supports the association financially.

SOLWODI has been active in Germany since 1987 and now has 18 advice centres, one contact point and 7 safe apartments. SOLWODI offers holistic psychosocial care and counselling, safe accommodation, legal and medical assistance as well as support for the return to the home countries.

SOLWODI works independently, non-partisan and non-denominationally for the rights of migrant women in need in Germany, be they victims of human trafficking, exploitation, violence or forced marriage.
